What to note before the appointment
Focus on specific examples rather than labels. Note what happens, how often it happens, when it started, and how it affects everyday life at home, school, work, or relationships.
- A recent example of the difficulty, including what happened before and after it.
- Situations where things are easier or harder, such as quiet settings, busy mornings, or changes in routine.
- Any concerns about sleep, mood, learning, physical health, medicines, or other factors that may be relevant.
- What you would like help understanding or what you want to discuss with the GP.
